| Radio
Radio is my favourite medium. My first steps in journalism were guided by a senior editor in the “Sender Freies Berlin”, the erstwhile public radio station of West-Berlin. That was during the days when Germany and Berlin were still divided. I prefer to conduct my own research based on reports in the Indian media. Armed with camera and tape recorder I travel to places where the action is and speak to the people, to acteurs and victims. By relying on original statements I hope to provide a voice to the voiceless and let people speak out. This is what I call “grassroots reporting”. Here I present some of my shorter productions with public radio stations in Germany, downloadable as MP3-files. |
